Let's get this done!

TIDY IT UP!

Please press your top and backing for me so that it's nice and tidy and ready for me to load. Please also clip stray threads or raveling fabrics as best as you can. You might not be able to get them all, but to prevent dark threads from shadowing through your quilt top, please don't skip this important step!

BACKING

What size should the backing be?

I require the backing to be 4" extra ON ALL SIDES. For example, if you have a quilt top that is 60"x 80", your backing should measure at least 68" x 88". It can be bigger, not smaller. Extra fees may apply if I need to put extra time and effort into getting your quilt ready to load. If you have questions, please ask.  :)

NOW WHAT?

Once the back has been secured and the top has been tidied, you are ready to make some other choices about the finished quilt.

1) QUILTING DESIGN

Decide what type of quilting design to use on your top.

Take a look at some of the available pantographs here

You can also search any of the websites below for more options.

Urban Elementz    Intelligent Quilting    Longarm League

Willow Leaf Studio    The Panto Shop

If you find a pantograph that I don't own,

I'm happy to split the cost with you to buy it for your project.

You also have the option of having me give you options to help you decide what quilting design to use.

2) THREAD

Color of the thread used to quilt the top needs to be decided.

3) BATTING

Type of batting needs to be decided.

I can provide 100% cotton, 80/20 or Polyester batting.

You can also provide your own.
